Professor Ts. Dr. Jagadeesh Pasupuleti is a distinguished academic, researcher, and energy professional specializing in power systems and renewable energy. He has 38 years of teaching, research and administrative experience. He has supervised 4 postdoctoral researchers and 40 postgraduate students and published 200 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings together with 8 books and book chapters. His research has achieved an h-index of 40 and 5,500 citations. He is recognized among the world’s top 5% of scientists in the SciRank Global Scientist Index 2025. He was involved in 60 research and consultancy projects with a combined funding value of $ 5 million. He has served as a Technical Committee Member, Session Chair, and Reviewer for international conferences and journals published by organizations including Elsevier and IEEE.

He has also been invited as a Keynote Speaker at national and international conferences and has delivered talks and technical presentations on energy. His career combines extensive academic experience with strong research, consultancy, industry engagement, and professional contributions in the energy sector. He currently serves as Director of the Institute of Sustainable Green Energy and Technology and Professor at the Faculty of Energy Transition, i-CATS University College, Kuching, Sarawak. He is a Senior Member of IEEE (USA), Member of IET (UK), Chartered Engineer CEng (UK), Professional Review Interviewer for CEng (UK), Member of EI (UK), Member of BEM (Malaysia), Member of MBOT (Malaysia), Professional Technologist P. Tech (Malaysia). In recognition of her contributions to science and research, Dr. Lee was a recipient of the 2025 Nature Inspiring Women in Science Award – Scientific Achievement Award, recognising outstanding women scientists whose work demonstrates significant scientific achievement and impact. She is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia and is passionate about advancing responsible and impactful AI for biodiversity, sustainability, and society.
