These Terms of Use are intended for publication on the official IDECS26 website. References to “you” or “user” mean any person who accesses or uses the Website.

1. Introduction

The official website of the International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak 2026 (“IDECS26”), including any services made available through it (“Website”), is owned and operated by Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation Berhad [Company No. 201701046422 (1265203-A)] (“SDEC”, “we”, “us” or “our”), with the support of SDEC-appointed service providers where applicable.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Website. By accessing, browsing or otherwise using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree to any provision of these Terms, you shall immediately discontinue your access to and use of the Website.

Certain services accessible through the Website, including registration, ticketing and payment services, may be provided through third-party platforms and may be subject to additional terms, privacy notices and policies. These Terms shall be read together with the applicable third-party terms and policies. In the event of any inconsistency relating to a particular transaction or third-party service, the terms specifically governing that transaction or service shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

SDEC reserves the right, at its discretion and without prior notice, to amend, reschedule, postpone, relocate, substitute or cancel any programme, session, speaker, moderator, sponsor, exhibitor, venue, schedule, format, entitlement, benefit or other aspect of IDECS26. Where reasonably practicable, any material changes will be communicated through the Website or through such other channels as SDEC considers appropriate.

Registration for IDECS26, including ticket purchases and related payments, may be facilitated through a third-party platform appointed by SDEC. Any transaction conducted through such platform shall be subject to the platform provider’s applicable terms of use, privacy notice and payment, cancellation, refund and transfer policies. Unless otherwise expressly stated at the point of collection, the Website does not directly collect or retain payment-card information.

The Website and all information, materials and other content made available through it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for general informational purposes only. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Subject to any mandatory requirements of applicable law, the courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Website or these Terms.
