Monetising Content Through IP
Startup Village
This session brings together a platform perspective and an academic lens on where content value is really created and captured today. It examines how short-form and social platforms have reshaped creator monetisation, through algorithmic discovery, brand partnerships and audience-building, alongside the business and design fundamentals that determine whether creative IP scales into a sustainable enterprise rather than a one-off hit. The conversation looks at what separates creators and businesses who build lasting value from their content from those who create well but monetise poorly, and where Sarawak’s own creative and digital talent can position themselves in that shift.
