Since joining Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd (Cradle) in August 2019, Muzakkir has played a pivotal role as an analyst for Cradle’s CIP funding programmes. His responsibilities span across various facets of the grant programmes, including application screening, due diligence processes, and portfolio management. Currently, he is leading the investment team for Cradle Elevate programme. Prior to his tenure at Cradle, Muzakkir accrued valuable experience at Astro Overseas Limited in market research and portfolio management within the technology, media, and entertainment sectors. He also gained firsthand insight into the dynamic startup landscape through his working experience in few startup companies. In 2023, Muzakkir had a short stint at the Securities Commission where he was part of a team tasked with developing a roadmap for MSME Financing Access to Capital Market before rejoining Cradle in 2024. Muzakkir holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Sustainable Energy from the University of Toronto (UofT), Canada.
