Prof. Dr. Edmund Ui-Hang Sim is a Professor at the Faculty of Resource Science and Technology, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from The University of Queensland, Australia. His expertise encompasses cancer genetics, molecular biology of cancer and medical biotechnology, with research interests in nasopharyngeal and colorectal cancers, cancer biomarkers, cancer risk assessment, bioactive compounds and bioinformatics. His research focuses on understanding cancer mechanisms and translating molecular discoveries into innovative approaches for cancer prevention, early detection and improved outcomes.
