Invest Sarawak is the state Investment, Trade and Talent attraction agency under the purview of Ministry of International Trade, Industry and Investments Sarawak (MINTRED) reporting to a Board chaired by The Right Honourable Premier of Sarawak. It started operationalisation late 2023 but was formally launched during the Business Day. Timothy is the CEO of Invest Sarawak since 2023. Timothy has over 20 years of experience in both the public and private sector. He served in various capacities, providing strategic advice to Ministers, foreign dignitaries, senior government officials and C-Suite level executives on strategies, policies, strategic initiatives and investment projects. Before joining InvestSarawak, Timothy held multiple positions in key federal government organisations such as the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), National Innovation Agency (AIM), under the Prime Minister’s Department and Steinbeis Malaysia Foundation. Timothy has led or been instrumental in the development in various initiatives such as the National Graphene Action Plan, Mid-Tier Company Programme and the National Biomass Strategy that helped pathways for present similar initiatives.
