From Data Centres to AI Grid
The Future
As investment in data centres and AI infrastructure accelerates, the next challenge is turning raw compute capacity into usable intelligence and economic value. This session explores how data-centre infrastructure, energy-efficient computing, AI accelerators, cloud-to-edge architectures and sovereign AI capabilities can operate as an integrated AI grid. Bringing together infrastructure, computing and national perspectives, the discussion will examine how compute can be distributed, optimised and governed to support businesses, government services, research and emerging applications. It will also consider what is required to move beyond infrastructure build-out towards an AI ecosystem that is scalable, efficient, accessible and capable of delivering sustained economic and societal value.
