Ts. Nurlaila Rosli is the Director of the Centre for Information Technology Management (CITM) and a Senior Lecturer in Software Engineering at i-CATS University College, Sarawak. She is a Professional Technologist registered with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and is actively involved in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, data governance, cybersecurity, software engineering, and emerging technologies. Her research and innovation interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, intelligent systems, digital health, assistive technologies, and data-driven applications. She is involved in multidisciplinary research projects including blockchain-secured federated learning for early cancer detection, AI-enabled assistive technologies for persons with visual impairment, and intelligent sign language interpretation. Beyond academia, she contributes to technology and innovation initiatives in Sarawak through industry engagement, research collaboration, digital literacy programmes, and participation in strategic working groups related to cybersecurity and software development. She has also served as a speaker, moderator, jury member, and evaluator for various academic, innovation, and technology programmes. Passionate about translating research into practical impact, Ts. Nurlaila advocates for responsible and human-centred adoption of artificial intelligence and digital technologies to address real-world challenges and strengthen the digital ecosystem.
